sabre 3 USB problem

Without any problems, I've been using the streamer on Sabre 3. However, I was unable to get it to play music when I attempted to connect it via USB to my computer!


The matrix application displayed "ASIO 1: Matrix ASIO driver, ASIO status Current sample rate 768000 hz" and other information after I loaded the driver and selected the USB input.

Still not a sound!

Why is that?

I have a stupid question: as the Sabre 3 is a DAC, once connected to my computer via USB, it ought to be able to play any sound from my PC, right?

Hi Motion,
It sounds like that the computer set the output sampling rates to 768kHz by itself. Please read this thread to set it lower.

If you would like to every sound event from the computer be played from the DAC, simply select the X-SABRE 3 as the system default output device.
