Index of compatibility of IIS-LVDS port of Matrix Audio and other brand products.

I have a GUSTARD X26 Pro DAC to which I would like to combine the new MATRIX Audio Element S streamer using the IIS-VLSD interface.

I know the PIN details of my DAC and wanted to ask if the Element S is compatible with my DAC or if it is possible to get the details of the 4 kinds of IIS-LVDS pin definition and 2 MCLK modes on this port.

I was also curious to confirm compatibility with the MQA encoding of the Element S, which is not mentioned anywhere.

Thank you in advance for your kind attention.

Ok I've found this discussion, and you seem to have the same issues I'm experiencing here with Element S and my x26Pro.

So far 70 reads and no answers at all... Btw: so far I've not been able to output PCM to Gustard via IIS.

Let's clearly say it: Gustards are not totally compatible with Matrix Audio DDC and Streamers.
So if you have a Gustard do not buy Matrix for I2s output.

The IIS works with DSD only and the combo is Type B Mode B, so it goes that the only way to make these work together is by upsampling all to DSD.
So use Roon/HQP or any other DSP able to perform this.

Element s have two clock and I will run x Sabre 3 with Synk mode. Wich output can you suggest, USB or II2s? Is it well dome or not?

Hi Giacomo,
Sorry for the late reply, we recommend you use the IIS interface, it can achieve the best effect.
