Do I have to try to disconnect the 16th pin as suggested to Tore_2388 for his X-SPDIF3?

Yes, you need to disconnect the pin #16 to unmute for the IIS input.
Please note, do it with a cheap HDMI cable. Reference Tore's experiences, don't disconnect the wrong pin.

I proceed as suggested by disconnecting PIN 16.
It works!
Also Topping D90 (the first AKM chip version) can be connected with Matrix Element S by IIS.
