The advent of the online streaming era has made high-quality music listening easier and more convenient. Larger library and better sound quality. These are the reasons why more and more audiophiles prefer online streaming audio.

With this update, Baidu Cloud Drive was added to Matrix Audio devices. You can directly log in to your Baidu Cloud Drive account in the MA Remote App, browse and play music from the cloud.

Models include element X2 Pure, element X2, element M2, element i2, element S, X-SABRE 3, mini-i Pro 4 and mini-i 4 will receive the update.

Update the device firmware and MA Remote App to the latest version. You'll find Baidu Cloud Disk in the Streaming page.

After the Baidu account is logged in, the app will let you to choose a playback mode, you'll need to select a proper playback mode according to your network connection condition and your subscription level.

In order to get better experiences when play music from Baidu Cloud Drive, please follow the suggestions below:

Play after download

In this mode, the device will start to play after the music file is completely downloaded. And the cached music file will be deleted after the playback is ended.

This mode requires good network connection conditions and SVIP subscription of Baidu Cloud Drive. If you are not subscribed to SVIP, your download speed may be limited, the playback may not stable.

Streaming playback

In this mode, music files will be transcoded and be streamed from the server to the device in real time. If you are not a Baidu SVIP subscriber, use this mode to ensure a smooth playback. This mode does not support DSF, DFF, OGG APE and AIFF files.

If you have logged in to Baidu Cloud Drive and have selected Playback mode, you also can change this setting from the app.

Set IP address manually

Another new feature is also included in this update. When using LAN connection, you can configure the IP address of the device.
