Firmware and app updates brings new functionalities and enhancements

The August update is here! Are you curious about the highlights of the updates? Come with me.

First of all, for element S users, this update brings a volume control function, which is convenient for you to use element S directly with active speakers that support digital audio input.

Secondly, we added a touch display playback control area for the mini-i series music streamers. At the same time, the "Tap to play" function can be operated from element Gen 2 devices (including element S) and mini-i 4/Pro 4 music streamers.

In MA Remote App, we added the shared link recognition function for TIDAL and Qobuz, allowing you to easily share playlists with friends; now, MA Remote App support TIDAL MAX now.

In addition, we have also optimized the sharing function of MS-1, allowing you to update the content in internal storage more conveniently.

Tips: Remember to update both the firmware and MA Remote App to get all the new functionalities!

New features for element S

element S now support volume control. If you want to use element S with an active speaker that supports digital input, but the speaker does not have volume control. Don't worry, you can now turn on the volume control function for element S and control the volume through the touch display of element S, also, the remote control in the MA Remote App or the optional RM4 IR remote also can do that now.

Updates of mini-i series music streamer

Now you can control the playback from the display of mini-i 4/mini-i Pro 4 music streamers. Swipe down from the top of the screen to call out the control buttons, and you can operate directly from the device display.

New functions for element Gen 2 and mini-i 4/mini-i Pro 4

element Gne 2 devices (including element S) and mini-i 4/ Pro 4 now support "Tap to play" function from the device. When the play queue is empty, tap the play button on the right side of the display of element Gen 2 devices, for mini-i 4/mini-i Pro 4, swipe down from the edge of the display, tap on the play button to star the "Tap to play" function! The device will randomly add up to 2,000 tracks from your library to the play queue and start playing.

TIDAL and Qobuz shared link recognition in MA Remote App

MA Remote App now recognizes and opens the shared link of playlists of TIDAL and Qobuz. Copy a link to an album or playlist from TIDAL or Qobuz, get back to MA Remote App, then the app will open the album automatically. Which making it easier for you to share your favorite playlists with your friends.

Make sure to copy an link starts with http or https.

Make sure TIDAL or Qobuz has been logged into MA Remote App.

Make sure you have entered TIDAL or Qobuz home page in MA Remote App.

TIDAL MAX

Now you can select streaming quality to MAX and enjoy FLAC high-res music with up to 24bit/192kHz in the MA Remote App.

What's new for MS-1:

The file sharing function of MS-1 has been optimized. When you visit the internal storage of the MS-1 through SMB protocol, you can customize the password from the MA Remote App. Enter the configuration page of MS-1, find File Sharing, set your new passwords here.
